Reaves Real Estate Professionals is one of the Tampa Bay region’s fastest growing firms. Led by veteran real estate executive, David Reaves, the organization prides itself on delivering a customized, hands-on approach with every client exploring commercial and residential properties, along with off-market opportunities. Reaves specializes in the investment, development, and planning needs of both buyers and sellers.

The Reaves name has been associated with vision and results in real estate along Florida’s west coast and across the southeast for 40 years. Originally introduced to the market in 1980 through Reaves and Florida football legend Alexander, John Reaves grew his practice into what is today, Reaves Real Estate Professionals. David took the hand-off from his father and has assembled a roster of highly experienced and knowledgeable professionals each with a key expertise.

Reaves Real Estate is known for being competitive, tireless and relationship driven. This approach is born from the renowned mentors David has had throughout his life, including college football legend Steve Spurrier, and former Notre Dame head coach Lou Holtz, among others.

He has brought those leadership lessons with him on every step of his professional life. From his first days in real estate with his father, to a very successful career coaching and leading recruiting efforts at college football’s highest levels, to launching the IMG Academy Football Program and into his role as President of Reaves Real Estate Professionals.

After his 4-year stint as Assistant Head Coach at the University of South Florida, David transitioned back into a leadership of Reaves Real Estate Professionals in January of 2017. During his time coaching, he remained an active member of the Reaves team, building relationships and delivering opportunities for clients across the southeast.

In addition to coaching his children’s flag football teams, he is a member of the Outback Bowl Selection Committee and is active in the Florida Gulf Coast Realtors Association and Greater Tampa Realtors. David is a graduate of Appalachian State University. He and his wife have two children and make their home in the Tampa Bay area.
